Joswe Medical was established in 1996 as a Jordanian pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

Since its establishment Joswe has been committed to increasing the availability and affordability of critical medications and treatments. Each year, Joswe develops and introduces new medications, focusing on high-priority pharmaceutical treatments that fill critical needs gaps within the market.

Joswe product portfolio started with a select number of medications covering three main high-priority categories of CNS, cardiovascular, and anti-infective medication. Joswe is recognized as the first pharmaceutical company in Jordan to manufacture quality branded first generic CNS medicines. Over the years, Joswe has expanded its product-lines to include over 160 pharmaceutical products across 14 therapeutic categories, solidifying its position as a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company within the regional landscape.

Founded by M. A. Shahin over 25 years ago with a vision to have an impact in improving health outcomes in our communities through manufacturing pharmaceutical products accessible to and affordable by all members of the community.

 With a passion for excellence and innovation the company marked its presence as a leading company in Jordan and the MENA region and aims to expand its presence and offerings based on its strong foundation that is built on its innovative approach to shifts and changes in the local and global pharmaceutical markets.
